The Executive is a personal dashboard application operated by Joshua Extra (ABN 75 885 010 380), a sole trader based in Queensland, Australia ("we", "us"). We operate the website at the-executive.vip and the application at the-executive.vip/app.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@the-executive.vip.
Almost everything in The Executive is information you enter yourself. Depending on which parts of the app you use, that can include:
Health information and financial information are treated as sensitive information under Australian privacy law. We collect them only because you choose to enter them, and only to show them back to you.
We do not track your behaviour inside the application for advertising purposes.
We use your information to run the app for you and for nothing else: to display your dashboard, calculate your figures, sync your data between your devices, generate the AI features you ask for, process your subscription, send you service emails, and diagnose faults.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models — ours or anyone else's.
This is the part most policies are vague about, so we will be specific. The Executive's AI features work by sending your data to Anthropic's Claude API and returning the response to you. Nothing is sent to Anthropic unless you use one of these features.
| Feature | What is sent to Anthropic |
|---|---|
| AI Advisor | Your dashboard context — profile and financial summary, properties, goals, tasks, habits and supplements — plus the question you ask. |
| Morning Briefing | A summary of your current figures and the day's tasks, plus live market data. |
| AI Weekly Review | Your scores, habits and activity for the week, and your journal entries for that week. |
| Bank statement import | The full PDF statement you upload, so transactions can be read and categorised. |
Anthropic processes this under its Commercial Terms of Service, which state:
"Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from Services."
You can read those terms yourself at anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms. We link to them rather than paraphrasing so you can verify the claim instead of taking our word for it.
If you would rather send nothing at all: every AI feature is optional. The dashboard, tracking, portfolio, budgeting and health tools all work without them. Not using the AI pages means none of your data is sent to Anthropic.
Running the app requires a small number of service providers. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not share your information with anyone else.
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and authentication | Your account and all app data you save |
| Vercel | Hosting and delivery | Technical request data (IP, device, timestamps) |
| Anthropic | AI features | Only what section 4 describes, only when you use them |
| Stripe | Subscription payments | Your email and payment details. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. |
| Resend | Service emails | Your email address and the message content |
| Yahoo Finance, Finnhub | Market prices | Ticker symbols only — no personal information |
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using The Executive you consent to that transfer. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect someone's safety — and we will tell you if that ever happens, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
The Executive is funded entirely by subscriptions. That is deliberate: it means the product has no reason to monetise you.
The application uses browser storage only to keep you signed in and to hold your data locally so the app works offline. No advertising cookies are used in the app.
This marketing website uses the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and reports visits and sign-ups to Meta Platforms so we can measure our advertising. This tracks your visit to this website only — never your activity inside the application. You can block it with browser privacy settings, an ad blocker, or through your Meta ad preferences.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in an encrypted database. Access is enforced at the database level by row-level security, so your account can only ever read and write its own records. Passwords are hashed. AI requests are rate limited and verified against your subscription.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
You do not need to give a reason to delete your account, and we will not ask you to sit through a retention offer to do it.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you cancel your subscription your data stays intact, so you can return without losing your history. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our live database immediately and from routine encrypted backups within 30 days. Records we are legally required to retain — payment and tax records, generally for seven years — are kept by Stripe and by us for that period.
The Executive is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how your information is handled, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
